ERIDAN is the world's first LED stroboscope with the luminous efficiency of 30.000 lumen.  Due to the 72 extra bright CREE® LEDs, the stroboscope consumes only 300 Watts. Low power consumption and absence of high-voltage discharges eliminate any affect on audio background and voltage fluctuation.

Compared with gas-discharge lamps, LEDs have a longer lifespan. Therefore, the LED stroboscope does not require technical maintenance even if exploited in a very intensive way, unlike discharge lamp strobos that need the lamp changed every 2-3 months.

The control of the device over DMX 512 allows setting up such parameters as brightness, duration, flashes'  frequency, background brightness, as well as synchronization of several stoboscopes on the DMX line. ERIDAN can also work in a standalone mode. In this case, all settings are made with DIP-switches.    

Thanks to the integrated thermal sensors, the stroboscope has overheat protection. When exceeding a maximum temperature level the brightness of LEDs is reduced, which optimizes the temperature level.

ERIDAN is designed for the professional lighting of different shows, discos and nightclubs. For theatre lighting you may as well apply various lenses. Light weight and compact size makes ERIDAN especially convenient for touring.
